Starting a Sports Team How to Make Basic Uniforms Look More Unique

Whether you coach the local Pee Wee team, or you’re in charge of a professional sports team, having the right uniforms can give your athletes more confidence. If you’re looking for ways to make basic uniforms look more unique, here’s how you do it:

1.Baseball pants

Right off the bat, they seem so basic. However, there is a lot that you can do with baseball pants to make them unique. Sure, you may be stuck choosing between white or gray baseball pants, but with a little imagination, you can use them to show off some personality.

For a classic look, why not get baseball pants with pinstripes on them? Or, for a more modern look, how about some colored piping that matches your jerseys? If you still think your baseball pants are too plain, how about hiking them up and pairing them with unique socks?

2.Softball uniforms

Softball uniforms tend to have more choices than baseball uniforms do – simply because players can either wear shorts or pants. If you really want to make your softball uniforms pop, why not get a different set for day games? Your team could wear shorts during the daytime and wear traditional pants at nighttime. You could even get special softball uniforms for Sunday afternoon games, like so many pro baseball teams do!

3.Basketball uniforms

Designed to be baggy and comfortable, basketball uniforms don’t tend to have a whole lot of variety to them. After all, basketball is played inside, so everyone can wear shorts and a sleeveless jersey.

But that certainly doesn’t mean that your basketball uniforms have to be boring!

Instead, why not opt for flashy colors that match your team logo – instead of the traditional white? Since you don’t have to worry about the sun, you can even get black basketball uniforms with a bright logo printed on them!
Or, if your team doesn’t want to just wear the traditional sleeveless jersey, why not add some personality to the mix by adding a brightly-colored undershirt? That way, you can change up the look of your uniforms just by changing shirts – instead of having to buy brand new basketball uniforms!

4. Track uniforms

Depending on your local climate, track uniforms can be teeny-tiny, or they can be bigger and sleeker. Today’s track uniforms come in all sorts of different materials, so it’s easy to find something that will keep your athletes comfortable and relaxed.
If you want to add some flair to your track uniforms, why not take the Olympic teams’ leads and go with flashy colors? Watch any Olympic track meet, and you’ll see bright colors all over the place. There’s no reason you can’t do the same thing with your track uniforms!
